About this Course

This Interview Prep Course equips participants with the essential skills and confidence needed to succeed in job interviews across a variety of workplaces. Participants will learn how to present themselves professionally, answer interview questions effectively, and communicate their strengths with clarity. This training follows best‑practice employment standards and provides participants with the tools needed to make a strong first impression and navigate today’s hiring process with confidence. Topics covered include: - How to answer common and difficult interview questions - Professional communication and body language - How to talk about your skills, strengths, and experience - Preparing for group, phone, and virtual interviews - What to expect before, during, and after an interview Training is provided through our Job Readiness Program for youth & young adults ages 16–24 and is proudly funded by The Home Depot Canada Orange Door Project. 📍 Location: Stony Plain Youth Centre 4902 51 Ave, Stony Plain 🕛 Time: 4:00pm–6:00pm Please arrive 15 minutes early.
