
This Red Cross Emergency First Aid course provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to respond confidently to emergencies at home, at work, and in the community. Through hands‑on learning, participants will practice how to recognize and respond to injuries, sudden illnesses, and life‑threatening situations until professional help arrives. This training meets national Red Cross standards and includes certification upon successful completion. Topics covered include: - CPR and choking procedures - How to respond to bleeding, burns, and medical emergencies - Safety awareness and injury prevention - Basic first aid decision‑making skills Training is provided through our Job Readiness Program for youth & young adults 16-24 and is proudly funded by - The Home Depot Canada Orange Door Project. 📍 Location: Stony Plain Community & Social Development Office Forest Green Plaza – #107, 4613 52 Ave, Stony Plain 🕛 Time: 9:00am-5:00pm Arrive 15 minutes early
