About this Course

Turn up the good vibes this spring at the Stony Plain Youth Centre! InstruMental Health is an interactive, immersive music experience that supports youth in building confidence, regulating emotions, expressing themselves, and connecting with others through live music and collaborative creation. No musical experience needed—just bring your curiosity! Hosted by VĪV Mental Health’s certified facilitators—who also happen to be professional musicians—participants will enjoy a safe, inclusive space to practice self-expression, mindfulness, and communication while having fun. Each session blends live performance, group music-making, music appreciation, and guided reflection to promote stress reduction and emotional regulation. Youth will leave with practical skills for building resilience, improving self-esteem, and fostering stronger relationships.
